Hello again. :)

So I posted here pretty recently and with the help of many great answers, have fallen in love with my school / became genuinely excited about going.

...but I have no idea how to get there. Greyhound doesn't go to Nashville for reasons I'll never understand. My car is a hooptie that will explode before it travels 900 miles and I don't have $500 to pay my friend to fix it, blahblahblah. I'm sure you're noticing a pattern.

Any of you on your way to Florida and back before the 18th? lol -.-

? Greyhound goes to Nashville. Tampa to Nashville would cost you $85 today (web only fare)

Oh cool. I looked about a month ago and never saw any of that. But since it means leaving my car behind, I'd need a way to LU. And the issue of money still remains.

Contact your admissions office and ask if they can put you in touch with anyone else going from your area. Maybe you can catch a ride. Your school wants you, let them help you.

Universities do that? You think it'd be some breach of privacy for other students.

Talk to your admissions office. It is in their best interest to have you at school.

They probably have to ask the other student for permission to put you in touch with them, but it can be done.

We always did that at Bennington. If you needed a ride somewhere, you put your info up on the ride board. Student life helped connect people as well.

And even if they can't hook you up with a ride from south Florida, they can certainly arrange a ride from the bus station.

Megabus from Orlando to Nashville is currently under $40 around the time you're looking at, but if you go that way, make sure your transfer in Atlanta is during the day.

I was just about to suggest Megabus.
